Day 1 – Nairobi – Masai Mara
Nairobi – Masai Mara Meet and greet by your safari driver. This shall be followed by a short briefing of your safari itinerary before commencing your tour. Begin your journey to Masai Mara in a relaxed mood making a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint. This dramatic landscape is impressive. Take photos and descend to the floor of the Rift Valley. Proceed via Narok town [One of the Masai shopping town] to arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch. There shall be moments of relaxation before the afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is famous for its striking vistas and diverse wildlife. Depart your lodge or luxury camp for an extensive wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Return to your lodge or luxury camp for dinner & overnight.
Day 2 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
This is the day set for you to explore this jewel park of Kenya. Depart from your lodge with packed lunch boxes. Enjoy awesome expanse and stirring wildlife abundance in this reserve. Spread your game viewing covering the golden savanna plains without losing sights of the episodes along the Mara River. Encounter predators in the field as they rival with the scavengers for dominance. All members of the “BIG FIVE” are found here. The events in this game reserve are truly dramatic and especially during the month of July – September when the wildebeests migration is on. The circular Mara river crossing made by the wildebeests is a spectacle that cannot be missed by any wildlife safari lover. This is one of the world’s great Eco-systems and unparalleled for its diversity of wildlife. Hunters and grazers, both large and small, fill the sweeping hills and savannas of the beautiful game reserve. Take your precious time watching Hippos and crocodiles by the Mara River. Return to your lodge or luxury camp for dinner & overnight.
Day 3 – Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Early morning breakfast and leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Relax for some time as you wait for the afternoon game drive. Leave for the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is scenic as it lies on the floor of the Rift Valley. The park hosts a Rhino Sanctuary with both black and white Rhinos sighting guaranteed. Lake Nakuru is famous for its population of brilliant pink flamingos feeding by the shimmering blue lake. Although the number of flamingos has decreased recently, they can still be seen along with many other pelicans. Tour shall visit the baboon cliff for an overview of this stunning rift valley lake before returning to your lodge or luxury camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
Day will start with an optional game drive before breakfast. Depart for Amboseli National Park, a journey that will take us via Nairobi and on to Nairobi Mombasa road. This shall be a relaxed drive with your driver making some stops to point out sightings of interest. Enjoy a welcome sight of Mount Kilimanjaro as you get to Amboseli National Park with game viewing en route. Check in and lunch. Amboseli National Park is one of the best in Eastern Africa with an awesome view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro of its background. Magnificent herds of elephants & other members of the “Africa’s big five” are abundant together with species of birds in this park. Our tour shall not be complete without going up the observation hill. From this hilltop, you will have an overview of the park and the marshy ground beneath. Game viewing in this park is awesome! Return to your lodge or luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Amboseli – Tsavo West
Early morning game drive before breakfast. Breakfast at 0800Hrs. Thereafter leave Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Game viewing en-route to your Lodge/luxury camp for lunch as well as check-in. Visit the Mzima springs (spring of water emanating from the ground forming massive pools). Exotic freshwater fish, crocodiles, hippos, birds and many more will also be seen. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge/luxury tented camp.
Day 5 – Tsavo West – Mombasa
Early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, visit the Rhino sanctuary. Afterwards, leave Tsavo West and drive to your Kenya Coast beach resort or any other convenient point of your choice.
